Twenty years of laser and skin work, one floor up

Radiant Skin began in 2005 as a small operation run by twins Rachael and Chris, and two decades later it occupies a first-floor salon in the commercial centre, minutes from Moorfields. The length of that run is the point: laser, radiofrequency and body technology are disciplines where experience with the machine matters more than the machine itself.

The menu is split between advanced aesthetics and everyday beauty.

Technology and brands

Hair removal runs on an Evolution Ice laser, with a cooled handpiece that makes longer sessions tolerable on larger areas. Skin tightening uses radiofrequency and HIFU, while collagen induction is done with a needling pen and collagen wave. Skincare is Exuviance and ESPA, nails use OPI gel and NSI acrylic, lashes are Nouveau. Laser follows a patch test.

Team and stylists

The salon runs a team of around fourteen across laser, skin, beauty and hairdressing, which is why disciplines are not shared out among generalists. Manager Catherine Orr came in with two decades of industry experience, and founders Rachael and Chris remain the reason the place exists. Ongoing training is treated as routine rather than occasional.

The Space

Being one floor up gives it something a shopfront salon cannot have: privacy. Clients arrive off the street and up a staircase rather than through a window display, which matters for laser and body treatments. Inside, the register is luxurious rather than clinical — treatment rooms behind doors, a separate nail and beauty area, and a calm front of house.
